Strategic Supply Chain Focus

  • Team programme
  • Tailor-made - e.g. 90 days
  • Operations- & Supply Chain Leaders
  • On-site at your company

You have a strategic plan and clear priorities, but little changes on the floor. Your team keeps hitting walls and everything takes too long. Not for a lack of motivation, but a plan is no substitute for execution.

Execution needs a routine: one priority, one target process, a weekly experiment, adjusting as you go. That's the recipe. That's how your strategy lands on the floor and implementation speeds up, without quality suffering.

In this programme we choose one priority together and run that routine: classroom training mixed with hands-on sessions and floor visits, close to your own situation.

The programme demands leadership: you're in it, week after week.

Programme

  • Intake · problem selection and outline
  • Kick-off · training on the programme and a start on the problem
  • Workshop(s) · determine Current, Ideal and Future State and agree an action list
  • Follow-up and experiments · measure progress on the floor, adjust, and prepare and run experiments
  • Closing session · key takeaways for you and your team. Next steps

The intake takes about two hours: preferably on site, where we choose the problem together, agree on roles and start a one-pager. (A video call also works.)

The training and kick-off take about three hours: we expect you and your team there.

The sessions that follow are tailored to the problem and the team's needs.

What you take away

The learning happens while tackling a real business problem. You and your team become familiar with tools and routines you can apply for the rest of your career. On top of that: a guide to designing capabilities and solving problems, templates and a glossary, accessible online for life.

From the field

This recipe isn't dry textbook theory: I used it for years as a manager in logistics and supply chain. Along the way I trained dozens of teams at the Nike campus for rolling out improvements, from small projects to urgent strategic capabilities.

  • From 87% to 98% OTIF: four distribution centres working as one to deliver a single shipment to the customer.
  • Lead time halved: a 25-year-old process from 8 to 4 hours, in the shipping department, without any investment.

Investment

The most important investment is your commitment: as leader, you walk the programme alongside us and lead by example. On top of that:

  • Intake, kick-off and materials: €2,000 (excl. VAT)
  • Follow-up sessions: €1,400 per day (excl. VAT)

Afterwards:

  • Individual coaching: €1,400 per day (excl. VAT)
  • Custom follow-up programme: quote based on scope

What happens next

After this programme you have the tools and routines to solve business problems: process improvement or defining a new capability.

This is typically the start of how you want to run your business, not the end. After that, you choose: a sounding board for you as a leader, or coaching for team members to go deeper.

Let's talk it through and see what this programme could mean for you and your team, no strings attached.
